SAN MIGUEL DE ALLENDE Mexico (Reuters) - The Spanish actor Antonio Banderas presented on Saturday the details of his next film, titled "Erase una vez en México" (Once upon a time in Mexico), his third adventure in this country.

Banderas who will be accompanied by stars like the American Johnny Depp, the Panamanian Rubén Blades and the Mexican Salma Hayek, affirmed in a press conference that the new film will become the best in the realized trilogy under the American director Robert Rodríguez.....

BANDERAS ONLY WANTS LATIN CHARACTERS

The Spanish actor, husband of the American actress Melanie Griffith, assured that he is only interested in interpreting characters of Latin American origin and to move away from the Anglo-Saxon stories.

"I don't want to do anglo characters, I am Latin and I feel much pride in my roots," assured Banderas who will also use his stay in Mexico to shoot with Salma Hayek the film "Frida," about the Mexican surrealist painter Frida Kahlo's life.

"Latins are no longer in fashion, we are here to stay. We are many actors and more and more director and producers," he pointed out.

In the film the well-known director Quentin Tarantino and the actors Willem Dafoe, Mickey Rourke, Marco Leonardi and Cheech Marín will also participate.
