This is a portion of a radio interview in which Michael had just told how
Phantom led to his singing career...

Sheridan: "And of course, talking of Phantom, there's been the endless saga
of the movie. On again, off again, would you do it, will you do it. There
were fans writing in, demanding that you should play the part. We still
haven't got the movie."

Michael: "No. ....that was very flattering that they did that. It's
something that you stand apart from, something like that. But I do
appreciate the devotion of those people that felt that strongly."
