Message Board Guidelines

 

  1. No use of profanity or obscenities.
  2. Strive to stay on topic, this forum was designed for discussion on the upcoming Phantom movie, and the casting of the Tony Award-winning original Phantom Michael Crawford.
  3. Post with courtesy. As you are making your points, please state your position politely and with tact.  (Stay off personalities and stick to the issue!)
    a.  No name calling.
    b.  Any post made showing disrespect towards Michael Crawford will be removed.
    c.  It can be helpful to follow these general rules for debating during discussions on the message board.
  4. PLEASE, avoid discussions of other actors whom have performed the role of the Phantom in the musical stage production.  (We really appreciate your cooperation with this one.)
    a.  Ultimately comparisons are made and we respect the work of other actors. 
    b.  It distracts from the main goal and purpose of the campaign, that we believe and stand firm on the promise that the original Tony Award-winning Phantom, Michael Crawford, should be cast in the upcoming film version of Andrew Lloyd Webber's musical, The Phantom of the Opera. 
  5. When discussing other actors and artists that may be mentioned in connection with the pending film production and casting, please attempt to stay positive and concentrate on the reasons the campaign supports the casting of Michael Crawford in the lead role.
    a.  Negative comments made publicly about other actors is not within campaign policies.
    b.  Antonio Banderas is exempt from this guideline due to his April 11, 2001 comments to the Daily Express.  "All is fair in love and war."
  6. For your own protection, please, no bootleg appeals!  We do understand that many people want to see Michael Crawford's performance, but these videos are an illegal activity and this website and public webboard can be visited by anyone.... This is not a safe harbor for finding these recordings.

     

    The Campaign reserves the right to remove any posts that we deem inappropriate as per these guidelines and at our discretion.
