The Phantom Montage
On August 7th and 8th of 1998, a rally was held at Warner Bros. Studios in Burbank, California, in support of casting Michael Crawford as "The Phantom" in the upcoming movie The Phantom of the Opera. After the rally was announced, fans from all over the world, wishing to show their support for Michael Crawford, contributed 8.5 X 11 inch panels for a Phantom Montage to be displayed during the event. We at The Michael Crawford Phantom Movie Campaign wish to express our heartfelt appreciation to all the fans who care so much about this cause, and whose time and efforts resulted in the overwhelming support shown by this Montage. Pictured below are the majority of the over 500 hand-made panels which were received and then exhibited at the rally.
