Dear Mr. Sir. Lord Andrew
Lloyd-Webber:
With all those titles, one might think you would want to do something
good for the "little people." Well, you can! Get with the PTB at WB and
draw up the most lucrative contract available. Then present it to Mr.
Michael Crawford, O.B.E, who is ALWAYS doing something for the "little
people" and pray your hardest that he will be merciful to you and
portray your "Phantom" once again. You will no doubt regret for a very
long time making a decision that places anyone other than Mr. Crawford
in that role. Many will refuse to see the movie, many will see it and be
disappointed, many will see it and laugh, and many--including yours
truly--will forever boycott anything else produced by you or the RUG.
What will it take to make you see how important it is to so many people
that Michael Crawford, who IS the Phantom of the Opera, who BROUGHT HIM
TO LIFE, and who has only ten years left of the Biblically "appointed
years" of the life of a man, be cast in this role so that future
generations can also enjoy the spectacle that millions have already
enjoyed. I really think POTO has beautiful music. Sarah sings quite
well. But NO ONE can do justice to the role of Phantom but Michael.
Please, give us a wonderful Christmas present and see if just maybe
Michael would consent to be the movie Phantom as he will always be the
true Phantom. |
