I grew up listening to Phantom every day of my life and your music has influenced my music more than you can imagine. When I heard that a movie was being made of Phantom, I was somewhat skeptical and when I heard that Antonio Banderas had been cast as the Phantom, I was, to say the least, disgusted. I'm disappointed that you broke a promise to Michael Crawford, who should be and deserves the title roll, for a big name actor like Banderas who can't do your music justice. I only hope that if I ever get as far as you do, that I don't sacrifice the justice of my music to movie money hoopla. |
